Freddie Mac Survey Reveals Fixed Mortgage Interest Rates Are Lower Than June 2013

By Jason Boone

Freddie Mac Released it’s Primary Mortgage Market Survey today which revealed that mortgage interest rates are now lower than they were during the same time last year.

Current Mortgage Interest Rates

30 Year Fixed Rate Mortgage – Currently averaging 4.14%

15 Year Fixed Rate Mortgage – Averaging 3.22%

The Right Time For You To Buy

Does this mean that now is the right time for you to buy a home in Bend or refinance your current mortgage?

The answer is yes because, mortgage interest rates are low this year while inventory remains steady and that means there are more opportunities for you to find the home of your dreams in Bend or elsewhere across the country.

Super Low And Looking Good

Mortgage interest rates are still super low from where they should be historically and that’s good news since we haven’t had any news that could affect the mortgage market like last year when the Federal Reserve announced that they would be tapering their bond purchases.

How To Get Started With Buying A Home

Do you want new construction, a fixer upper or a home that was recently remodeled and has all of the character that you’re looking for?

Are you searching for a home that has a minimum of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms?

Is the right school district important to you when choosing a home?
