Men’s Journal is one of the top magazines which covers the latest and best information for travel, health & fitness, food & drink plus style so this list is certainly great publicity for Bend especially considering the fact that Portland Oregon ranked number 3 on the same list.
Ranking Criteria
Contrary to public opinion, these lists are not made by people sitting around in a board room somewhere, the Men’s Journal Best Places to Live Now list was compiled after surveying their readers from across the United States about where are the best places to live nationwide.
The Men’s Journal survey included criteria like: cost of living, average commute time, population growth and average days of sunshine per year.
