Ask anyone and they will tell you that getting Central Oregon Real Estate ready for sale is never easy especially if you’re on a budget.

In this post I will provide you with 5 tips which you can use to get your home ready for sale, and looking awesome, regardless if you’re on a budget or not.

Tip 1 – Work on Your Closets

Start clearing out all unnecessary clutter from your closets and remove any outfits (including those ugly sweaters) which you haven’t worn in the last six months to 1 year.

It’s also important to use matching hangers for the clothes you plan on keeping and baskets or matching storage boxes for those shoes or other items that you plan on keeping.

Your goal is to de-clutter each of your closets to emphasize the space that they have to offer home buyers.

Tip 2 – Make over Those Bedrooms

Although you may love your bedrooms as they are it’s best to make them “gender neutral” and choose specific colors or a theme throughout the entire room.

Tip 3 – Clean Your Bathrooms!

Home buyers don’t like seeing dirty tile floors in bathrooms or grimy kitchen sinks so it’s best to clean your bathrooms as best as possible before home buyers arrive.

Tip – Use white hand towels, towels and wash clothes in bathrooms to give them a relaxing “spa like” feel.

Tip 4 – Make Central Oregon Real Estate More Appealing By Updating The Kitchen

Do not fear updating your kitchen, you can revitalize any kitchen space by doing the following:

• Sand and refinish or repaint cabinets.
• Buy new brass or stainless steel knobs and handles for your cabinets.
• Clean your fridge
• Clean your oven

Tip 5 – Improve Your Dinning Area

Last of all, but most important, use neutral colors in your dining area.

You should also set your dining area table since this table will also serve as a focal point for buyers when they arrive.
